Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Mitchell
Dallas, Texas

Dear Martha and Joe,

Thank you for noticing The Catholic Foundation’s new website. We have not even made the formal announcement yet so you are definitely out there “surfing” the web. Actually, the site is not new, it has just been redesigned and includes more information. The address is still www.catholicfoundation.com.

I hope that you noticed the many new features on the site and how it is divided it into three sections. They are “Giving” devoted to charitable giving; “Serving” highlights how the foundation serves donors and the community and “Learning” is devoted to current news, events and the people of the Foundation. There are over forty topics covered on the site and the information is both technical and non-technical. The non-technical information will tell you just about anything you need to know about ways to do charitable giving through the Foundation. It will also show the grants that have been awarded and explain how an organization can apply for a grant. The technical sections will assist donors and the professional community with connections to Gift Legacy and Gift Law. Those two features help both donors and professionals with gift planning. Don’t be afraid to check those sections of the site out as well. I think you will find them interesting.

Finally, I hope you enjoyed the home page with the rotating photographs showing Foundation activities. There is more to come so keep checking the site for more changes and additions. Thanks again for noticing! God Bless.

Sincerely,

Edwin M. Schaffler
President and Chief Executive Officer
