Mr. and Mrs. Ron Stewart
Frisco, Texas
Dear Ron and Cindy,
It was great seeing you at the golf outing last week benefitting our Catholic schools’ extracurricular activities. It is always fun to raise money for a worthy cause while playing a game we enjoy. As usual, we all “know” we can play better, we just never do.
Fund raising events during the summer months are somewhat of a rarity in Dallas. Many of us tend to take a vacation from charitable giving in the summer, but charity should never take a break. So, your commitment to establish a donor advised charitable gift fund at The Catholic Foundation this summer made me very happy because I can tell that you have charity on your mind twelve months a year.
Funds such as yours make giving easy . Responses can be thoughtful and immediate because there are no year end charitable giving pressures and the gift planning occurred when the fund was established . Your charitable fund is, in reality, a charitable asset just waiting to be used for important needs in our community.
Thank you for establishing the donor advised charitable gift fund. We are honored that you have chosen to use The Catholic Foundation as your “community” foundation and we look forward to serving you twelve months a year.
Sincerely,
Edwin M. Schaffler
President and Chief Executive Officer
