Dear Professor Pennell,

The Catholic Foundation is delighted you will be the inaugural speaker in the Foundation’s newly established Advisor Series presented to our area’s legal and financial planning professional. The Advisor Series will be an annual event presenting nationally known experts speaking on important legal and financial planning topics. Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP is our first presenting sponsor of the Series.

When we looked at the outline of your address “Current Cases with Planning Significance: Hot Topics and Current Developments” we were assured that our audience of professionals will be spending their time well while earning two hours of CLE, CPE or CFP continuing professional education credits. It is amazing to see how the important issues are always full of new and creative developments. I know our audience will benefit greatly from your expert presentation.

The program committee led by Cheryl Unis Mansour, our Vice-President of Development, and comprised of Catholic Foundation Trustees and Advisory Council members has helped make the Series kickoff top notch. It will be at The Belo Mansion, in the Pavilion West ballroom on Thursday October 18 and will begin at 7:30 am with a plated breakfast. We will conclude no later than 10:15 am. The charge is $65 per person. Reservations can be made by calling The Catholic Foundation. Each participant will receive your notes and a beautiful reference binder that can be used in their daily practices.

Professor Pennell, we are excited to have you and look forward to a great professional seminar.

Sincerely,

Edwin M. Schaffler
President and Chief Executive Officer
