Mrs. Donna Butzberger
President
Dallas Vocation Guild
Dallas, Texas
Dear Donna,
Please let me extend my heartiest congratulations to the Dallas Vocation Guild on the celebration of its 25th Anniversary. I heard you had a big party at St. Monica’s during your regular monthly meeting, including a champagne toast. I suspect the membership enjoyed the special celebration, especially those founding members who were present. They have much to be proud of over the years.
Organizations such as the Dallas Vocation Guild have a unique commitment to the well being of our community and none can be stronger than the Guild’s which is to further and support vocations among our religious community, especially its women members. When it comes to supporting the many facets of our catholic community it takes a lot of dedication on the part of all of us.
The Catholic Foundation is constantly striving to support the entire community as well. We were founded with the idea of making our catholic community better through philanthropy. Just as the Dallas Vocation Guild fosters urgently needed vocations, the Foundation encourages our community to step forward to help make every aspect of our faith lives better through planned charitable giving and “catholic” philanthropy. That is the reason we are a community foundation. We are here to benefit everyone, but we need everyone to make that happen.
Donna, please pass along our congratulations to the membership and keep up the great work! God Bless.
Sincerely,
Edwin M. Schaffler
President and Chief Executive Officer
