Anna LeBlanc to Join The Catholic Foundation As Senior Development Officer

Veteran philanthropic giving advisor Anna LeBlanc, CAP®, will join The Catholic Foundation as senior development officer, further strengthening the existing team that works closely with donors and professional advisors to serve donors and the needs of the Dallas-area community. She begins her new role Oct. 3.

Senior development officer Michael George recently shared the story of Catholic Foundation donor Louise Buhrer, a 5th generation Swiss immigrant who established a charitable remainder trust at The Catholic Foundation totaling $777,000. Our three minute video tells the story.

Our Sept. 7 panel of community foundation and nonprofit leaders discussed the trends they see in nonprofit communications, fundraising and donor engagement strategies. But for thousands of local Catholics, sitting inside a church to participate in Mass - is not possible for various medical and health reasons. Institute For Homiletics Showcased in The Texas Catholic

The Institute for Homiletics, a collaborative of the Diocese of Dallas, The Catholic Foundation and University of Dallas, was profiled in July by reporter Jeff Miller for The Texas Catholic. The article describes the intent of the Institute to enhance Catholic preaching and the work of founding executive director, Karla Bellinger and associate director, Deacon John O’Leary.

Seeking a Fall 2022 Grant? Letters of Intent are Due June 15

The first step in applying for a grant from The Catholic Foundation involves submitting a Letter of Intent, or LOI. The LOI spells out an organization’s goals and plans and they are due by midnight Wednesday, June 15.
