Karla J. Bellinger, M.A., DMIN, has been named founding Executive Director of the Institute for Homiletics at the University of Dallas with the goal of improving preaching in the Catholic Church. The Institute is a collaboration of The Catholic Foundation and the University of Dallas.

But that high profile honor, plus $2,500, awaits one talented Texas artist who wins this year’s 16th annual Catholic Foundation Art on the Plaza competition. Honorable mention winners will receive $250.

The Catholic Foundation Welcomes Four New Trustees To Board / Aileen Pratt Begins Two-year Term as Board Chair

Fernando Blanco, Dr. Mauricio Delgado, John Dziminski and Jeff Schiefelbein have been elected to The Catholic Foundation Board of Trustees and Aileen Pratt has been elected board chair, succeeding G. Marc Lyons who served as board chair the past two years. Pratt will serve a two-year term and the new trustees will serve a three-year term through 2023.
