Rising to the Challenges of the Day

With gratitude to Catholic Foundation donors past and present, our team continues to work safely from home, and our efforts have not been deterred. Many of our donors and Foundation friends have risen to the challenges of the day by helping with various projects including food drives, equipment distribution and prayer sessions via videoconferencing.

CommUNITY During Sunday's Televised Masses

We’re pleased to continue as the financial broadcast sponsor of each televised Sunday Mass, including those in May and June to be concelebrated by Dallas Bishop Edward Burns and Auxiliary Bishop Greg Kelly on FOX4 at 11 a.m. and replayed at noon on KDFI, Ch 27 or 7, depending upon your video service provider.

Catholic Foundation Employee, Neighbors, Collect Food & Funds For Local Ministry

Rising to the challenge, a Catholic Foundation employee, Sylvia Windham, and her family participated in a massive food drive with their Canyon Creek Home Owner Association (HOA) in Richardson to feed North Texans. Last weekend, Sylvia, the Bilingual Gift Processing Coordinator, and her neighbors collected 14,000 pounds of food and the CC HOA donated $10,000 in cash for a local non-profit in Richardson called Network of Community Ministries (Network), a spring 2019 recipient of a Catholic Foundation grant.
