Anna LeBlanc Joins The Catholic Foundation As Senior Development Officer

Veteran philanthropic giving advisor Anna LeBlanc, CAP®, has joined The Catholic Foundation as senior development officer, further strengthening the existing team that works closely with donors and professional advisors to serve donors and the needs of the Dallas-area community.

LeBlanc most recently served as Director of Gift Planning at The University of Texas at Dallas for the past 10 years.

Prior to UTD, LeBlanc served as Director of Development at The Warren Center, Director of Development for SMU Catholic Ministry and Director of Major Gifts at Texas A&M University-Commerce plus several other development roles.

She earned a bachelor’s degree from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio and graduated from Ursuline Academy in Dallas.

LeBlanc is a former board member and conference chair for the Association of Fundraising Professionals in the Dallas and San Antonio chapters, a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy, a past president and current member of the Dallas Council of Charitable Gift Planners and a member of the Dallas Estate Planning Council.

“Anna’s more than 30 years of experience in development and fundraising expands the expertise and professionalism The Catholic Foundation provides our donors,” said Darina O’Dowd Padian, Vice President of Development at The Catholic Foundation. “Her diverse background in major gifts, planned gifts, annual funds, capital campaigns and stewardship will be instrumental in the continued growth and success of the Foundation.”

In her new role, LeBlanc reports to O’Dowd Padian and works closely with senior development officers Michael George and Elizabeth Murray.

“I look forward to applying my development and major gift knowledge to advance the mission of The Catholic Foundation,” said LeBlanc. “Donors can make a strong and lasting impact while giving creatively, saving taxes, and strengthening the community. I feel honored to play a role in their charitable planning.”

LeBlanc, born and raised in Dallas, and her husband Rick have been married for 19 years and have three children. LeBlanc and her family are members of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Richardson where her parents, Mary and Carl Stewart, were founders.
