Avoid Crisis By Making End-Of-Life Decisions Through Advance Planning

Kick off 2021 strong by attending any or all four free online webinars we’re hosting in February that cover End-of-Life issues from a Catholic perspective.

The online webinar series, “THE CONVERSATION: A Catholic Perspective on End-of-Life Issues” begins on Monday, Feb. 1 at 7 p.m. The three other webinars take place on Thursday, Feb. 4, Monday, Feb. 8 and Thursday, Feb. 11.

Details and registration for the online webinar series hosted by The Catholic Foundation can be completed by clicking here.

Having conversations about illness, death and dying are never easy. Whether death comes suddenly or after a prolonged illness, most of us are not comfortable discussing our medical wishes or end-of-life plans with our loved ones.

However, being prepared ensures that your final wishes are followed.

It’s important for you and your loved ones to understand the Church’s teachings on end-of-life decisions. Advance planning on your part keeps your family from having to make these difficult decisions in a time of crisis.

The free, online webinar series is for people of all ages and life situations: singles, parents of young families, those caring for aging parents and those facing illness or death and will not involve a solicitation.

The webinar series will feature the following five topics and speakers:
Pastoral Care of the Sick and Dying with Fr. Tom Cloherty of Prince of Peace Catholic Community in Plano,
Legal Considerations: Ensuring Your Wishes are Followed with Ellen Eisenlohr Dorn with the Law Office of Ellen Eisenlohr Dorn,
Principles of Catholic Bioethics with Fr. Peter Fonseca of the Archdiocese of St. Louis,
Funeral Service & Cemetery Planning with Chris Taylor at Dignity Memorial, and
Charitable Legacy Planning with Cheryl Unis Mansour of The Catholic Foundation

If you have questions about the webinar series, or wish to register over the phone rather than online, please contact Amy D’Alise on our team at 972-331-1645 or theconversation@catholicfoundation.com.

Spaces are limited, so please register here as far in advance as you can so that program materials can be sent to you via email. After registering, you’ll get an email with details about joining the webinar(s) you’ve selected.
