Cardinal Kevin Farrell Receives The Catholic Extension Spirit of Francis Award

Congratulations to Cardinal Kevin Farrell on receiving The Catholic Extension Spirit of Francis Award.

The award recognizes an individual or group who has made a significant impact on the mission of the Catholic Church in American through service or philanthropy and lauds their commitments to “reach out to the margins of society” in the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi, Pope Francis and the founder of Catholic Extension, Father Francis Clement Kelley.

Cardinal Farrell served as the seventh bishop of Dallas from 2007 to 2016, and it was so nice to have him back in town for a visit.
