Celebrate Catholic Philanthropy At Its Finest Feb. 4th

It’s rare to meet someone who has experienced as much in life as Jack Pratt, the 40th annual Catholic Foundation Award honoree.

From his early entrepreneurial days at age six selling newspapers, flowers and puppies in Joplin, Mo., to his highly successful hotel, casino and hospitality industry days on multiple continents, there’s little Jack hasn’t seen.

Click here to enjoy this January 9th live radio interview involving Jack and his wife of 41 years, Aileen, with Dave Palmer at KATH, 910-AM.

Jack will be recognized on Saturday, Feb. 4 during The Catholic Foundation Award Dinner at the Hilton Anatole Dallas. The evening will showcase Jack’s Christian example and enormous philanthropic impact made throughout the Dallas area. Cocktails begin at 6:30 p.m. with the program beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Table and/or individual seat reservations for the 2023 Catholic Foundation Award Dinner can still be made online at www.catholicfoundation.com, or by calling 972-661-9792.

Jack subscribes to the notion, “To whom much is given, much will be required” that stems from the Gospel of Luke.

“You don’t earn money to keep it for yourself. You can’t take it with you.” he says. “It was not a desire that I needed the money. I lived decently, and it was always in my thought that there were many other people who needed support and so I helped.

“Given how my life started, I feel so blessed,” he says. “The good Lord has answered a lot of my prayers and I’ve had the ability to give back and spend most of my time on church work.”
