Circle Of Life Seminar Helps People Discuss How Final Wishes Can Be Honored

Registration has closed for “THE CONVERSATION: A Catholic Perspective on Circle-of-Life Issues” that takes place on Saturday, March 11th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at All Saints Catholic Church in Dallas.

If you have any questions, please contact Sham Mohammed on our team at 972-331-1640 or email us at theconversation@catholicfoundation.com.

Conversations about illness, death and dying are never easy. Whether death comes suddenly or after prolonged illness, most of us are not comfortable discussing our medical wishes or end-of-life plans with our loved ones.

However, being prepared ensures that your final wishes are followed. It is important for you and your loved ones to understand the Church’s teachings on end-of-life decisions.

Advance planning on your part keeps your family from having to make these difficult decisions. This free seminar is for people of all ages and life situations: singles, parents of young families, those caring for aging parents and those facing illness or death and will not involve a solicitation.

The seminar featured the following five topics:
•Pastoral Care of the Sick and Dying with Fr. Jovita Okoli
•Legal Considerations: Ensuring Your Wishes are Followed with Michael Koenecke
•Funeral & Cemetery Planning with Chris Taylor
•Charitable Legacy Planning with R. Michael George, CFRE & Anna LeBlanc, CAP
•Principles of Catholic Bioethics with Dr. Mayra Thompson
