Investment Decisions in a Volatile Market

We rely on the strength of our Board of Trustee approved investment policy, the oversight of our investment committee and the expertise of our professional investment counsel, LCG Associates, Atlanta, to help us navigate these challenging times.

The Catholic Foundation’s conservative, balanced and growth investment pools are modeled for the long-term and are widely diversified between a blend of capital appreciation assets (domestic & international stocks), income producing and deflation hedging assets (including fixed income) which best suited your financial goals.

In making investment decisions and in evaluating long term investment returns, the Foundation focuses on a long-term investment time horizon (at least 10 years). This can be difficult in periods like we are experiencing now; however, it is important to maintain a steady and strategic investment approach.

We will continue to be mindful stewards of the resources that the Catholic community has entrusted to us.
