Public Invited to Circle-of-Life Seminar at St. Ann Catholic Parish August 20

“THE CONVERSATION: A Catholic Perspective on Circle-of-Life Issues” continues this summer, and you’re invited to attend our next information-packed and free seminar on Saturday, August 20th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. Ann Catholic Parish in Coppell. You can register online by clicking here.

If you have any questions, please contact Amy D’Alise on our team at 972-331-1645 or email us at theconversation@catholicfoundation.com.

Conversations about illness, death and dying are never easy. Whether death comes suddenly or after prolonged illness, most of us are not comfortable discussing our medical wishes or end-of-life plans with our loved ones. However, being prepared ensures that your final wishes are followed. It is important for you and your loved ones to understand the Church’s teachings on end-of-life decisions.

Advance planning on your part keeps your family from having to make these difficult decisions. This free seminar is for people of all ages and life situations: singles, parents of young families, those caring for aging parents and those facing illness or death and will not involve a solicitation.

The seminar featured the following five topics:
•    Pastoral Care of the Sick and Dying with Fr. Edwin Leonard
•    Legal Considerations: Ensuring Your Wishes are Followed with Ellen Dorn
•    Funeral & Cemetery Planning with Chris Taylor
•    Charitable Legacy Planning with R. Michael George
•    Principles of Catholic Bioethics with Deacon Charles Stump
