In April during our spring grant ceremony, The Catholic Foundation awarded $1.1 million to 22 local schools, churches and organizations. The grants supported a range of things including HVAC replacements, building renovations, tuition assistance and technology upgrades. Last year alone, the Foundation distributed $21.5 million through more than 2,400 grants to 800 organizations. Over the years, the Foundation has provided more than $247 million in grants. With this as a backdrop, we want to ensure that qualified charitable organizations, Catholic schools and churches don’t miss the next major deadline when it comes to requesting a grant from the Foundation. The first step in applying for a grant from The Catholic Foundation involves submitting a Letter of Intent, or LOI. The LOI spells out an organization’s goals and plans and they are due by midnight Wednesday, June 15. Click and read more here if you're interested in pursuing a fall grant. Need motivation? If you have questions about preparing a Letter of Intent, please contact program director Ann Letteer at firstname.lastname@example.org or 972-331-1643.
