The Good Word Chronicles Perseverance Amid The Pandemic

In our latest edition of The Good Word, mailed earlier this summer, we showcased how the Catholic Foundation has continued advancing our mission in spite of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

Our day-to-day operations remain largely uninterrupted with the use of technology and close coordination of the entire staff. Meantime, the new era of remote work and videoconferencing calls for meetings and events remains very effective.

This edition of The Good Word also talks about how proud we are of our donors who have stepped up to support expanded needs of the community with a generous spirit of stewardship.

In addition, we cover many other key topics including our financial sponsorship of the weekly televised Mass with the Catholic Diocese of Dallas (now through the end of 2020!), our End-of-Life series, Holy Land pilgrimage with Catholic Foundation donors, 15th annual Art on the Plaza competition, spring grant recipients (28 groups received $1.1 million!), memoriam to former Foundation Trustee, Deacon Brian Mitchell and our Work of Heart Award program that recognizes great Catholic education leaders.

As challenging as the COVID-19 era has been on our society as a whole, we’re confident that The Catholic Foundation will keep growing even stronger as we build upon our legacy that serves the needs of today and tomorrow.

If you don’t receive The Good Word at your residence, we’d be glad to add you to our mailing list. Reach us at info@catholicfoundation.com.
