Winning Art From The 2018 ‘A Year On The Plaza’ Art Competition Now On Display In The Dallas Arts District


Holman Morris’ artwork, “Windows to the City,” was unveiled on the 28-by-9-foot public art wall in The Catholic Foundation Plaza during a ceremony on Oct. 17 and will remain on display for one year.

Along with being a wife and mother, Holman Morris considers being an artist her vocation. She started painting in 2009 and received her Master of Fine Arts degree from Academy of Art University in San Francisco, Calif. Her winning piece, “Windows to the City,” celebrates not only the Cathedral Shrine of the Virgin of Guadalupe’s architecture, but also the city of Dallas and its attractions.
