WINNING ART FROM THE 2016 ‘A YEAR ON THE PLAZA’ ART COMPETITION NOW ON DISPLAY IN THE DALLAS ARTS DISTRICT

The Catholic Foundation has announced local artist Tanya Joiner Slate as the winner of the 2016 ‘A Year on the Plaza’ Art Competition. Her artwork, “Trinity River Origami,” was unveiled on the 28-by-9-foot public art wall in The Catholic Foundation Plaza during a ceremony on Oct. 12 and will remain on display for one year.

WORK OF HEART AWARD PROGRAM HONORS 30 EXCEPTIONAL CATHOLIC SCHOOL EMPLOYEES

During the first half of the 2016-17 school year, 30 Dallas-area Catholic school employees received a Work of Heart Award from The Catholic Foundation for outstanding service at their school, modeling a Christian example, or going above and beyond for an individual student, family or community.
