CommUNITY During Sunday's Televised Masses

Catholic Foundation Employee, Neighbors, Collect Food & Funds For Local Ministry

Rising to the challenge, a Catholic Foundation employee, Sylvia Windham, and her family participated in a massive food drive with their Canyon Creek Home Owner Association (HOA) in Richardson to feed North Texans. Last weekend, Sylvia, the Bilingual Gift Processing Coordinator, and her neighbors collected 14,000 pounds of food and the CC HOA donated $10,000 in cash for a local non-profit in Richardson called Network of Community Ministries (Network), a spring 2019 recipient of a Catholic Foundation grant.

Good News On Good Friday

Thanks to our donors past and present, The Catholic Foundation is in a position to respond to the needs of the Catholic Diocese of Dallas, our faith community and the community-at-large. Our work has not been interrupted by social distancing, and we remain committed to serving our donors and the Dallas-area community with compassion in a way that helps us remain connected as a community. 28 Churches, Schools and Non-Profits Receive $1.1 Million in Spring Grants

The Catholic Foundation awarded $1,186,250 in grants to 28 Dallas-area Catholic churches and schools and non-profit community organizations as part of its spring grants distribution. Approved prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, the grants are funded through The Catholic Foundation’s unrestricted Philanthropy Fund and other legacy field of interest funds.
