As part of its service to the community, and to enhance the visibility of both its philanthropic work and the pressing needs of the community, The Catholic Foundation hosts and sponsors a number of public and educational activities each year.

    Spring Grant Award Ceremony Cancelled

Each spring and fall, The Catholic Foundation provides grants to organizations that meet the physical and spiritual needs of the Catholic community throughout the Diocese of Dallas and the region.

Due to restrictions on public gatherings involving the COVID-19 pandemic, the spring award ceremony that was to take place on Thursday, April 23 at Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth Retreat Center in Grand Prairie has been cancelled. We will be in contact with all of the grant recipients and look forward to celebrating their grant as soon as possible.

The grants support a number of initiatives including a variety of building renovations and enhancements, technology upgrades and projects that serve the greater community.

Looking back, you can read our fall 2019 news release here, and see photos of the fall grant ceremony in the Photo & Video Library section of our website.
