Fall Grants To Be Announced Later This Year

Each spring and fall, The Catholic Foundation provides grants to organizations that meet the physical and spiritual needs of the Catholic community throughout the Diocese of Dallas and the region.

The Catholic Foundation grant application process beings with a Letter of Intent (LOI), and that helps us determine whether your organization and project are of interest and eligible for grant consideration. Please visit this page to learn more about the LOI process and note that it is not required for tuition assistance requests. We have reviewed all the Letters of Intent, and invited more than 20 organizations to continue the process by preparing their fall grant submission. We'll announce the fall grant recipients later this year.

We recently celebrated our spring grant recipients in a virtual ceremony, and look forward to the great things they will do with the nearly $1.2 million in grants presented. The grants support a number of initiatives including a variety of building renovations and enhancements, technology upgrades and projects that serve the greater community.

Our second Catholic Community Network of the year on June 3, “Battle Tested: How Nonprofits & Schools Can Grow Stronger From the Challenges of COVID-19” focused on the impact that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on several Dallas-area non-profits and schools.

Guest speakers talked about how their response can spur ideas for new business models, new approaches for interacting with key audiences and new ways of serving the immediate needs of the pandemic era while fulfilling your organization’s core mission.
