Matt Kramer

Matt Kramer

President and Chief Executive Officer

Experiences:  Prior to The Catholic Foundation, Mr. Kramer headed Kramer Global Advisory, LLC and Leopard International Company.  He gained 29 years of international business and leadership experience at Dallas-based Commercial Metals Company (CMC), most recently at CMC Americas Executive Vice President.  Decisive, high-integrity business leader who succeeded with highly complex businesses on a global scale through the ups and downs of economic cycles, Mr. Kramer led divisions to substantial growth and profitability.

Community and Professional Activities:  Mr. Kramer has been active in local parishes and Catholic organizations for more than 35 years.  He served with his wife, Kris, as co-chair of the $15 million Catholic Charities of Dallas Endowment Campaign.  He is a member of St. Rita Catholic Community, Metro Serra Club of Dallas, Legatus Dallas along with the Dallas Estate Planning Council  and the Estate Planning Council of North Texas. Mr. Kramer is a board member at Central States Manufacturing Inc. of Lowell, Arkansas and a member of the North Texas District Export Council.

Educational and Professional Certification:

Cheryl Unis Mansour

Vice President of Development

Responsibilities: Overall responsibility for the development and marketing activities of The Catholic Foundation.

Experience: Prior to coming to The Catholic Foundation Cheryl served as Vice President of External Affairs of Communities Foundation of Texas, which she joined in 1993. At Communities Foundation of Texas, Cheryl was responsible for the Foundation’s relationships with clients, the media, other non-profit organizations, local, regional and national philanthropic entities, and the community at large. She negotiated the terms of philanthropic gifts and participated in the administration of the Foundation’s individual funds and the awarding of grants from CFT.

Further experience includes marketing and sales in the retail clothing business and an interior design firm which also included management of a retail subsidiary.

Community Activities: Cheryl Unis Mansour, a native of Dallas, Texas, has been involved in community and church service, both professionally and as a volunteer, for over 35 years. A participant In Leadership Dallas, 1999, Cheryl is a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, The Ursuline Academy Alumni Association, Charter 100, Dallas Vocation Guild, The Serra Club of Dallas and The City Club.  Cheryl served on the 2003 Linz Award Selection Committee, and served on the boards of The Greater Dallas Community Relations Commission, Charter 100, Children's Education Fund and The Entrepreneurs Foundation of North Texas.  She currently serves on the boards of Dallas Knife and Fork Club, The City Club of Dallas, Dallas Vocation Guild and the Dallas Center for the Performing Arts Advisory Board.

Professional Organizations: She holds membership on the Dallas Estate Planning Council, the Estate Planning Council of North Texas, the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning and regularly attends both regional and national seminars and workshops relating to philanthropic giving and stewardship. Cheryl is also a member of the Conference of Southwest Foundations and serves on the Membership and 60th anniversary Committees.

R. Michael George, CFRE

Senior Development Officer

Responsibilities: Donor relationships and assisting with planned gifts to the Foundation. Michael has been with The Catholic Foundation for the past 15 years.

Experience: Mr. George has held various management positions in a business career spanning 18 years. His most recent position prior to joining The Catholic Foundation was as director of the annual Catholic Community Appeal for the Diocese of Dallas from 1996 to 1999.

Professional Organizations: National Association of Charitable Gift Planners, The Dallas Estate Planning Council, The Estate Planning Council of North Texas and he currently serves on the Board of the Dallas Chapter of The Association Fundraising Professionals and is a past president of the organization.

Community Activities: Serra Club of Dallas, Knights of Columbus and active at St. Rita Catholic Community as a member and Past Chairman of the Stewardship Council.

Mike Murray 2016

Mike Murray, J.D.

Senior Development Officer

Responsibilities: Cultivating donor relationships, assisting with planned gifts to the Foundation and community relations. Mike is a Dallas native, licensed attorney and joined The Catholic Foundation in 2014.

Experience: Mr. Murray recently served as the Executive Director of Heroic Media, a faith based organization that uses the power of media to connect women in crisis pregnancies with life-saving resources. Mr. Murray previously practiced law in Dallas for 15 years, beginning his career as a criminal prosecutor. Mike began is professional career teaching, coaching and serving as an admissions officer at Jesuit College Prep in Dallas.

Community Activities: Catholic Pro-Life Committee - Board member 2004-2014; University of Dallas - Marketing Committee member, 2012-present; KATH 910 AM Catholic radio, show host; St. Thomas More Society; Knights of Columbus.

Carol P. McDonald

Chief Financial Officer

Responsibilities: All financial activities of the organization, i.e. accounting, payroll, benefits, insurance, SEC filings and issues, and tax filings.

Experience: Director of Financial Controls for SEI Benefit Services, a division of SEI Investment Services Corporation providing record keeping services to large and mid-size corporations for their 401(k) plans and other retirement plans, for eight years. Responsible for several large corporations, from both an operational as well as marketing aspect. Mrs. McDonald began her career with Price Waterhouse and was an audit senior upon her departure from the firm after six years of service.

Community Activities: Active in her church and currently serving as Treasurer for the Board of Directors of Jonathan’s Place (d.b.a. Kidnet Foundation) and President of the Naaman Forest High School Ladies Athletic Booster Club.

Meghan Donnelly headshot

Meghan Donnelly

Director of Marketing and Communications

Responsibilities: Oversees all marketing, communications, online, website, printed publication, media, PR and social media 

Experience: Meghan moved from her hometown Tulsa, OK in 2015 to join The Catholic Foundation Development team. She developed her varied expertise during her 6 year professional career in the manufacturing and oil and gas industries with Hilti USA, Hilti Spain, and TD Williamson inc. She later became founder and CEO of Inner Peace Yoga LLC from 2005-2015 where she worked extensively in PR, Marketing, Public Speaking, and Communications within the Oklahoma Community, online community and local media.

Community Activities: Meghan and her company partnered with many local and Oklahoma philanthropic organizations to help them raise donations and awareness including the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma, Tulsa SPCA, Animal Aid, The Center for Individuals with Physical Challenges, and Oklahoma Alzheimer’s Association.
