Business Leaders Share Advice on Running Great Organizations

Three outstanding business leaders with expertise in for-profit and non-profit organizations shared their wisdom, knowledge and insight to a packed house of non-profit professionals at today’s quarterly Catholic Community Network meeting at our headquarters.

Trisha Cunningham, President and CEO of the North Texas Food Bank; Jim Burke, Executive Vice President and COO at Vistra Energy; and Deacon Jake Schroepfer, President of John Paul II High School, stressed many things.

Among the highlights:
•    placing your well thought out organizational mission and values on paper before putting them into action,
•    encouraging people to be problem solvers,
•    growing successful organizations from the inside out,
•    empowering employees to work together, and
•    collaborating with like-minded groups for greater success.

Thanks to these fine leaders for investing time to help build even stronger leaders in our community.

Our next Catholic Community Network will take place Wednesday, Sept. 4 and Dec. 4 so please save the dates as we’ll have more blue-ribbon groups of experts.
