Athletic Director Scores Points With Co-Workers, Students and School Parents

We are very proud of Seth Benavides, athletic director at Mount St. Michael Catholic School, for receiving our latest Work of Heart award.

Like his mother, Rhonda Benavides, a past Work of Heart award honoree, Seth pours love and inspiration into the students at his school.

In his role, he makes a huge difference. One nominator wrote the following about him.

“I have witnessed his outstanding spirit of service, of community, of support. My children always want to be with him as they feel respected, supported, and valued by him. They love to do homework with him, They say that he has a way of making it fun and enjoyable. I am very grateful that he is part of our MSM community and school.”

He has purchased sporting equipment on his own to serve the needs of the students and “demonstrates patience, generosity, and love and leads by example” according to his co-workers and parents of students.

Mr. B – as he is affectionally called by students, joins the nearly 1,400 other full-time employees at Catholic schools in the Dallas area who have received the Work of Heart honor over the years.
