Nonprofit Collaborative Helps Establish Good Lifestyle That Supports Healthy Pregnancy For Mom & Baby

A new collaborative involving The Catholic Foundation, The Vitamin Bridge and Birth Choice of Dallas helps women receive prenatal nutritional supplements to establish a lifestyle that supports a healthy pregnancy for mom and their baby.

In these two videos, you’ll learn how The Catholic Foundation provides grants to organizations like The Vitamin Bridge. In this model, The Vitamin Bridge, receives funding which allows them to provide women who seek services from Birth Choice with nutritional supplements that they may not be able to obtain elsewhere.

Helping women have a good life, and working with organizations like The Vitamin Bridge and Birth Choice of Dallas, is a classic example of the type of collaboration The Catholic Foundation pursues to positively influence lives.

The first video features three leaders as they describe the role of their nonprofit in the collaborative.

The second video features a poignant story from a Birth Choice of Dallas nurse manager who interacted with a woman who received an ultrasound. During the procedure, the woman learned she was 30 weeks pregnant, not 10 weeks, and her heart for the child changed while lying on the table as she chose to accept the baby girl as the mother.
