Two More Sunsets Until The Art Contest Deadline

We’re enjoying seeing the captivating pieces of art that have been dropped off in our office the past few days as Texas artists compete in the 2023 Art On The Plaza competition.

The good news: You still have time to enter.

The even better news: Past winners have worked on their entries up until the deadline.

If you need another sunset, or two, under your belt before turning in your masterpiece by 5 p.m. Friday, that’s okay. However, 5 p.m. is a hard deadline with no exceptions and we’re at 12222 Merit Drive, Suite 850 in Dallas by Medical City Dallas.

To be considered, please refer to the submission guidelines that call for entries to be original artwork, that you include a professional resume and a letter that explains how your entry will relate to The Catholic Foundation Art Plaza in the Dallas Arts District, and it should measure 9 2/3 inches high by 28 inches long.

This year’s Art On The Plaza judges selected “Hope” as the theme. Your work should speak to the essence of hope.

The grand prize winner will have their art displayed for one year on The Catholic Foundation art wall that is 9 feet high by 28 feet wide. In addition, the winner receives $5,000. Honorable mention(s) winners will receive $500.

Complete submission details for this year’s contest are located on our Catholic Foundation Art Competition page by clicking here.
